In order for MenuSelect to work, we have to store certain pieces of information about the restaurants that use the service. We do not collect any personal data about individuals who only view menus on the website.
We collect anonymous non-personal data from all users for the purposes of performance and usage analysis. This data includes time spent and interactions made on the site. This data is not linked in any way to a particular person or device.
For this section, 'you' refers to a person who registers with MenuSelect on behalf of a restaurant.
The only pieces of information we collect that are classed as 'personal' are the contact email address and restaurant address you provide us.
The only thing we use your provided email address for is contacting you regarding your account or general communication. We may use your address for verifying your restaurant and showing customers restaurants nearby that use MenuSelect. We will never pass on your email address to a third party without your permission.
All information about a particular account is stored in protected files that can only be accessed by logging in with your password.
The contents of your menu is an exception, as this can be viewed by anyone with your link or QR code. This data includes the name of your restaurant, the names of sections of your menu, and the names, descriptions, prices, and allergy information of dishes on your menu. This data is kept in seperate files from your account information.
You have the right to view, change, update or remove any data we hold about you. This can be done from the Dashboard page once you have signed in, or by contacting us via the website or at daniel@menuselect.co.uk.
